Summary
During 7/2001-12/2002 at Hospital 103 , 107 patients with ulcer bleeding were radomized into
2 groups: PLS for group I(n=52) and HSE for group II (n=55). We show such as:
A prospective radomized study was performed to compare the hemostatic effect of injection
therapy with 2 solutions: PLS and HSE in the treatment of peptic ulcer bleeding (PUB) . Successful
rate was 96,3%, four patients have to undergone sugery . Stable condition ( stop
bleeding ) after the first injection was observed 40 patients (76,9%) of NSE group and 47
patients of HSE group (85,6%). The number of patient needed the second injection were 12
in PLS group (23.1%) and 8 in the HSE group (15,4%). There was 1 patients needed the thirt
injetion in the HSE group There were 4 patients have to undergone sugery in the PLS group,.
* Dose of PLS for each bleeding site 5,2 + 2,2 ml ; number of injection :4,1 injection time : 17,3
+ 5,1 minutes
*Dose of HSE for each bleeding site : 8,8±2,6ml, number of injection : 4, injection (maneuver)
time : 17±4 minutes .
*PLS, HSE were effective in treatment of bleeding due to peptic ulcer.
