Nghiên cứu 5 bệnh nhân (BN) hội chứng Brugada (tuổi TB 39,0 ± 15,5), đều là nam giới và 15
BN có điện tim kiểu Brugada (tuổi TB 40,8 ± 15,4) trong đó 12/15 là nam. Điện tim nền của cả
5 BN hội chứng Brugada có dạng chênh vòm (coved type), 11/15 BN (73,3%) ở nhóm có điện
tim kiểu Brugada có điện tim dạng yên ngựa (saddle-back) typ 2. Sau khi tiến hành nghiệm
pháp dung nạp glucose đường uống, hình ảnh điện tim kiểu Brugada xuất hiện lại ở 2/5 BN
(40%) hội chứng Brugada và 12/15 BN (80%) ở nhóm có điện tim kiểu Brugada.
Như vậy, hội chứng Brugada và điện tim kiểu Brugada thường xảy ra ở lứa tuổi 40 và chủ yếu
ở nam giới. Nghiệm pháp dung nạp glucose đường uống có thể bộc lộ hình ảnh điện tim kiểu
Brugada ở những BN này.

We studied 5 patients with Brugada syndrome (mean age: 39.0 ± 15.5) and 15 patients with
ECG pattern of Brugada (Brugada waves) (mean age 40.8 ± 15.4). Oral glucose tolerance test
(OGGT) was carried out in all patients at time when the ECG pattern of Brugada was absent.
All of 5 patients (100%) with Brugada syndrome and 12/15 patients (80%) with Brugada waves
were male. All patients (100%) with Brugada syndrome presented coved type ECG whereas
73.3% patients with Brugada waves presented saddle-back type 2 ECG. After carrying out
OGGT, characteristics ECG was unmasked in 2 out of 5 patients (40%) with Brugada syndrome
and 12 out of 15 patients (80%) with Brugada waves.
Brugada syndrome and ECG pattern of Brugada syndrome usually occurred in the age of
forties with male predominance. OGTT can unmask characteristics ECG pattern of Brugada
syndrome.
